Marty Leatherbury is available to consult with you and your family on event design, with a specialty in wedding design.  Her wedding design work has taken her all over the world, from the United States to Asia, Europe, and the Bahamas.  Consultation can range from simply helping you select jewelry for the bride and bridesmaids to designing the complete style of all elements of the event according to her experience and your preferences.  Photos and articles about Marty’s beautiful event designs have appeared in local and national newspapers and magazines.

From Marty's Journal

My love of "all things Wedding" was nourished from childhood by my Aunt Sue Walker who was the Fashion Editor for Modern Bride Magazine in the 1960's.  Each year our summer visits to New York included forays into the garment district, ateliers of young designers, and the amazing flower markets! The first wedding that I planned was for my mother, so I really felt that I had come full circle when I choreographed my daughter's wedding in the Bahamas, spring of 2012. Today, I not only plan the wedding decorations and events, but also design unique jewelry for the bride, and presents for bridesmaids and the whole wedding party. In between those family weddings stretched two decades of event planning for friends and new clients, featuring me climbing ladders, miles of tulle in tow, trudging through forests for smilax harvesting, and staying up late many wedding eve nights making boutonnieres to ensure their freshness. Yet nothing has dimmed my total excitement as I sit down with each new bride!  We discuss how she wants her special day to feel, and I strive to "make my magic" while reflecting on the uniqueness of her dreams.
